Around 40 members of the Made in Group joined today’s Virtual Breakfast morning with Liberty Pressing. The event began with an introduction from all guests, giving them a chance to tell everyone who they are and what company they are from.

Following introductions, Business Development Director at Liberty Pressings, Brett Parker, did a presentation giving guests an insight into the companies capabilities, multiple branches across the UK and the major brands they work with.

Liberty Pressing is well known for its high-quality tooling from design, prototyping to large volume press tooling. Brett said the firm has “some of the largest press machines in the UK” allowing them to meet the toughest of customer demands.

Part of GFG alliance, Liberty House is an international metal and industrial group, specialising in commodities, metals recycling, manufacture of steel, aluminium and engineering products. Brett continued to tell the group that Liberty House is broken into five businesses: Liberty Commodities, Liberty Engineering, Liberty Recycling, Liberty Aluminium and Liberty Steel.

Liberty Pressing, part of the Liberty Engineering group, are able to carry out pressed assemblies at their branch in Coventry. Their economic life extension programme looks at product development and helps customers save on cost.

After the presentation, Brett followed this up by a virtual tour of their facility in Coventry, showcasing the large press machines and layout of the factory. This is a great aspect of the virtual breakfast mornings as guests see first hand the firm's capabilities and best practices.

Finishing off the event, members had the chance to network in smaller groups and get to know each other on a more intimate level for 15 minutes across 3 sessions. Networking and sharing best practice is vital within the manufacturing community and gives business leaders a chance to ask for advice through challenging times.
